Wellcome Collection is the free visitor destination for the incurably curious, exploring the connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future.

This blog is a place for us to present some of our projects (like the Transvengers webcomic), reflect on our programme of events and exhibitions, as well as explore related subjects and activities from across Wellcome Collection. Whether you’re a regular visitor or have never set foot in the door, we hope you find something here to pique your curiosity.

If you’ve written about a Wellcome Collection event or activity on your own blog or would like to write for us, we’d love to hear from you. Let us know by emailing the editor, Russell, at r.dornan@wellcome.ac.uk

You can follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

We’re part of the Wellcome Trust which funds cutting edge science, medical history, art and technology. Our building at 183 Euston Road in London also houses the Wellcome Library and Wellcome Images. Entry to Wellcome Collection is free.

  1. To Whom it May Concern,

I am a big fan of your work. Inspired by the Wellcome blog, last year I started an online journal for The Burns Archive. The Burns Archive is one on the largest privately held collections of medical photography in the world. Along with medicine, the collection focuses on vernacular photography from 1840-1940. We post news about our exhibitions and publications and share rare unpublished images and stories. You may enjoy our current exhibits on memorial photography and civil war clinical photography.
